(Victor Valley)– Residents are invited to view and offer comments via videoconference at an upcoming County Planning Commission hearing on a closely-watched solar proposal in Oak Hills.

At 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, the San Bernardino County Planning Commission is scheduled to consider a proposed 20-acre solar project in Oak Hills.

“Because this project has generated so much community concern, I have requested that the County videoconferencing center in Hesperia be opened to cover this important Planning Commission meeting,” First District Supervisor Robert Lovingood said.

Residents are welcome to view and offer public comment at either the County Government Center, 385 North Arrowhead Ave. in San Bernardino or at the County High Desert Government Center videoconferencing center at 15900 Smoke Tree St., Hesperia, second floor.

The public is also welcome to submit written comments to: San Bernardino County Planning Commission, c/o Michelle McCoy, Land Use Services Department. Email her at Michelle.McCoy@lus.SBCounty.gov.
