(Victor Valley)– As the dog days of summer come to an end and the regular summer swim season closes, San Bernardino County Parks in partnership with V.C.A. Central Animal Hospital hosts its 4th Annual Doggie Pool-ooza event at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park in Ontario. This event will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 8:30 am to 1 pm.
During this annual event owners can bring their four legged pals who have had to endure the summer in a fur coat, for a last dip in the cool pool. In addition to the zero entry pool the event also boasts a Doggie Swimsuit Competition hosted by Rancho Regional Veterinary Hospital, a Dog/Owner look-a-like contest hosted by Canidae Pet Foods, John Elway’s Crown Toyota offers a Top Dog Talent Show, and Ufuria will host Lil’ Dog Races.
Several pet supply vendors will be there selling items from “Our Natural Solutions” dog shampoo to “Bubba Pack” carriers. There will even be vendors there for the humans. Upon entry to the event owners will be entered into an opportunity drawing to win wonderful dog themed prizes from Kali & Co., Petco and more.
Canine participants must be six-months-old, have a license and proof of up-to-date vaccinations, and must be on a six-foot leash when not in the pool. The first 100 in attendance will receive a complimentary doggie goodie bag.
Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park is located at 800 North Archibald Avenue, Ontario, CA 91764. Entry fee is $10 per vehicle and $1 per canine participant. For more information call the San Bernardino Regional Parks department at (909) 387-2461.
