Rep. Cook Announces Supervisor Lovingood and Sheriff McMahon To Participate in Informational Forum on Veterans Benefits

(Victor Valley)– Rep. Paul Cook (R-Yucca Valley) announced today that San Bernardino County Supervisor Robert Lovingood and San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon will join him for an informational forum on veterans benefits in early November.

Only a few seats remain available for the “Honoring Our Commitment: Informational Forum on Veterans Benefits and Services.” The forum will take place Friday, November 8 at 9 AM at the Apple Valley Town Hall Conference Center, located at 14955 Dale Evans Parkway, Apple Valley, CA 92307. There is no cost to attend and light refreshments will be served.

This event will provide important information regarding government benefits and services provided to active-duty service members, veterans, and dependents. In addition, representatives from agencies providing veterans services will be on hand to answer questions from attendees.

A member of the House Armed Services, Veterans’ Affairs, and Foreign Affairs Committees, Cook is a former educator who served as an infantry officer and retired as a Colonel after 26 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was awarded the Bronze Star medal with valor device and two Purple Hearts for actions in combat.
