(Victor Valley)– Rep. Paul Cook (R-Yucca Valley) announced today that he will host an informational forum on veterans’ benefits.
This free event will provide important information regarding government benefits and services provided to active-duty servicemembers, veterans, and dependents. In addition, representatives from agencies providing veterans services will be on hand to answer questions from attendees. Light refreshments will be served.
The event will take place on Friday, November 8 at 9 AM at the Apple Valley Town Conference Center located at 14955 Dale Evans Parkway in Apple Valley. Space is limited, so please RSVP with Rep. Cook’s office by phone at 760-247-1815 or by email at Jeremy.firstname.lastname@example.org.
A member of the House Armed Services, Foreign Affairs, Veterans’ Affairs Committees, Cook served as an infantry officer and retired after 26 years as a Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps. During his time in combat, he was awarded the Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts.
