(Victor Valley)– Touring duo Soul Pattern Project will play the 12th Annual Hwy 62 Art Tours live on the YART Stage downtown Joshua Tree, CA Saturday, Oct 19 at 11am. Featuring Southern California recording artist, singer/songwriter Maggie Vee and producer/musician Nathan Paul. When playing live, Soul Pattern Project is known for taking audiences to the edge of the sublime with original songs that are divinely inspired. Described as a new sound, they invented the term “Fringe Folk,” for their early acoustic guitar music. Recent reviews call them bold and distinct; adult independent and alternative; at any one time being jazzy, bluesy and country in root, morphing into a flurry of atmospheric cerebral fusion.
The Hwy 62 Art Tours is one of the largest Open Studio Art Tours in the nation spotlighting hundreds of visual, performing, and musical artists in the Joshua Tree Gateway Communities and brings an estimated 6,000 art lovers from all over the country and parts of the world. The Hwy 62 Art Tours is the largest arts event in the desert, taking place over the last two weekends of October each year. The 2013 Art Tours will cover the West end of the Morongo Basin on October 19-20, and the East end on October 26-27
