(Victor Valley)— “Mixing Water and High Desert Economic Development: Is Opportunity Knocking?” is the theme of the High Desert Water Summit at the Hilton Garden Inn in Victorville.
The event takes place on November 8th from 7:30-1:00 p.m. and aims to initiate dialogue among the region’s leaders to plan the High Desert’s future with an eye towards ensuring a sustainable water supply to support growth. Summit topics include “Do We Have Enough Water to Grow?”, “Water Quality- Chlorate and Chromium-Two Big C’s in Your Future,” “Why the Bay Delta Conservation Plan Should Matter to You, “Changing a Culture Via Conservation,” and “How Do we Grow in the Desert?”
