(Hesperia)– If your Christmas Gift list is full of avid readers or your own wish list is full of books, be sure to stop by Hesperia High School’s cafeteria on Saturday, December 7 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and enjoy 50% off books during the Scholastic Warehouse Book Sale, an annual fundraising event sponsored by Hesperia Unified School District’s Parent Coordinating Council.

Books will be available for all ages from preschool children to adults with picture books and easy readers for young ones and science fiction, adventure, fantasy, and young adult for novel-readers. There will science books, history books, sports books, and much more to entertain and educate the family.

The Scholastic Warehouse Book Sale is a perfect opportunity for gift-giving (or receiving) and a great deal for schools looking to purchase classroom materials. With the 50% discount and some of the proceeds going to graduating seniors of Hesperia Unified School District, there is not much reason to miss this fantastic event. Come out and help Hesperia Unified break last year’s record of $37,000 in total book sales, which gave $7,400 in scholarships to last year’s graduating seniors.

The Scholastic Warehouse Book Sale is a community event run completely by volunteers and to make book shopping easy, Stater Brothers, Target and Walmart will be providing shopping carts to help you carry all the books you cannot resist.
