(Victor Valley)—Today marks the beginning of one of the premiere comic conventions in the United States as WonderCon once again takes over Anaheim.
WonderCon brings everything that you love about pop culture under one roof, and that roof is at the Anaheim Convention Center. Comic book publishers, movie studios, independent artists, collectibles and a plethora of vendors, programming, special guests, cosplay and much more are all present as WonderCon makes it’s home for the third year in Southern California. Last year, the convention drew almost 50,000 attendees, and this year can only grow even bigger.
This year has plenty of exciting programming and guests, and it includes the world premiere of a DC Entertainment property. Friday boasts the premiere of Son of Batman, the latest animated feature from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. Saturday is the day for the annual masquerade, where talented individuals craft some of the most amazing costumes you will ever see. Programming boasts workshops for artists, writers, fans of TV shows like NBC’s The Black List, and even a workshop on how to build an R2 from Star Wars.
WonderCon starts today and runs through Sunday. Tickets are available online only, visit http://www.comic-con.org/wca for more information and to purchase tickets.
