(Victor Valley)– San Bernardino & High Desert, CA – As part of the Interstate 15 (I-15) Cajon Pass Rehabilitation Project, crews continue to conduct nighttime shoulder work to accommodate minor traffic alignment modifications throughout the project alignment. Crews will now begin installing temporary traffic striping and conducting shoulder reconstruction work in the median starting Sunday, April 13th on I-15 (along the Cajon Pass) beginning northbound starting at Kenwood Ave in San Bernardino for approximately 13 miles along Interstate 15 (I-15) to 1.2 miles south of West Hesperia Overhead. Lane closures (1-2 at a time) will occur during the night time shoulder work. Once northbound work is completed, shoulder work will continue southbound in the opposite direction.
Below is information on nightly closures that will begin on Sunday, April 13th. Work will begin as early as 8 p.m. and end by 6 a.m. NOTE: Information disclosed is subject to change without notice based on weather, field conditions or operational factors.
