(Victorville)–The San Bernardino County Fair came to life as country music star Jerrod Niemann took the stage this Saturday as the inaugural concert for the 2014 fair.
The sold out crowd was ready for the star to perform, and the crowd was not disappointed. “Judge Jerrod” and his band, the Hung Jury, burst onto the stage and lit the entire crowd on fire. The show was full of high energy, lots of laughs, good times, and even a donkey playing with the band for Niemann’s latest hit single, “Donkey”.
The crowd clapped in unison to every track, as Niemann didn’t just perform: he brought a party to the High Desert. Her performed a line up including the aforementioned hit, “Donkey”, “Lover Lover”, “Drink to That All Night”, as well as a few surprises, like Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire” and more. The atmosphere was one to remember, as everyone, from the floor seats to the grandstands, celebrated with one of country music’s brightest stars.
“Jerrod Niemann was a fantastic performer,” said Victorville resident Stephanie La Ferriere right after Niemann’s performance, which included an encore performance much to the delight of the entire crowd. “His songs are nice to sing along to on the radio, and it was a great experience seeing the band perform these fun songs live.”
“He was a great start to an exciting line up at this year’s fair,” said Danielle Moore of Victorville, who watched the show from the third row. “His concert caused a party that makes you want to throw your hands up high; I could drink to that all night.” Apple Valley resident Adrienne Hulley added, “Jerrod was a great performer and I had so much fun sitting so close!”
Niemann has had six top 40 entries on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts on Billboard. His latest album, High Noon, contains the smash hit “Drink To That All Night”, which hit #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. His latest single, Donkey, has been everywhere since its release. Niemann is also set to go on tour with Keith Urban on the Raise ‘Em Up Tour this July.
