Youth Art Display On May 17 At The High Desert Center for the Arts in Victorville

(Victorville)– tpsCreative Expressions invites all to see the finished artwork from the “Justice Through the Arts” workshops focused on “Justice- Expressed in African American and Hispanic American Art.”

The youth workshops ran from March 22 thru April 30 and featured engaging workshops including: Dance (Hip-Hop, Line Dance, Salsa, Step), Drama (Reader’s Theatre), Music (Songwriting, Instrument making), Creative Writing (Poetry, Personal Stories), Visual Arts (Painting, Print-making, Collage)

The finished student artwork will be on display at the Center for the Arts in Victorville from 10:30a – 1:30 exhibition and reception in the theatre gallery. The High Desert Center for the Arts is located at 15615 8th St, at 8th and C Streets in Victorville. The reception and the art display are FREE to the public.
