Youth Art Display At Victor Valley College Cinco de Mayo Festival

(Victorville)– tpsCreative Expressions invites all to see the finished artwork from the “Justice Through the Arts” workshops focused on “Justice- Expressed in African American and Hispanic American Art.”

The youth workshops ran from March 22 thru April 30 and featured engaging workshops including:

Dance (Hip-Hop, Line Dance, Salsa, Step)

Drama (Reader’s Theatre)

Music (Songwriting, Instrument making)

Creative Writing (Poetry, Personal Stories)

Visual Arts (Painting, Print-making, Collage)

The finished student artwork will be displayed at the Victor Valley College student activities center during the Cinco de Mayo Festival held Saturday, May 3 from 10am – 6pm.. The Cinco de Mayo event and the art display are FREE to the public.
