(Victor Valley)– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will continue work this week to replace deteriorated slabs, diamond-grind the mainline, plus mill and overlay the existing asphalt concrete ramps on I-10 from the junction of I-10 and SR 86S to just east of the Coachella Canal Bridge.
Crews will work during daytime hours. There will be full ramp closures and alternating lane closures on the mainline. The project is expected to be finished by early 2015 (weather permitting). The work for next week will take place as follows below:
