(Apple Valley)– Apple Valley Mayor Art Bishop will present “State of the Town: Building Bridges” at the August 20 Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
The Town of Apple Valley has become an expert on bridging gaps in 25 years as an incorporated community. From bridging the past to the present, from goals to reality, from challenge to success, this year the Town is also bridging the Mojave River with the construction of the Yucca Loma Bridge.
The presentation will provide an overview of the town’s business, economic, financial and developmental health, including an update on the Yucca Loma Bridge.
The luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Apple Valley Conference Center, 14975 Dale Evans Parkway, adjacent to Town Hall. The cost is $20 for Chamber members in advance or $25 for the public at the door. Gallery-only seating without lunch is available at no charge with advance reservations.
