San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk, Dennis Draeger is Pleased to Announce Expanded Services to High Desert Residents

(Victor Valley)– Over the next few weeks the High Desert Recorder-Clerk’s office, at 15900 Smoke Tree Street, Suite 120 Hesperia, CA 92345 will begin to incorporate additional services including:

– Fictitious Business Name filings

– Notary Oath and Bond filings

– Process Server filings

– Professional Photocopier filings

– Unlawful Detainer Assistant filings

– Legal Document Assistant filings

– Other miscellaneous filings administered by the County Clerk’s Office

– Recording of Official Documents

– Research Official Records, from 1974 to the present

– Purchase Official Records Copies

These services are in addition to the current services offered which include:

– Purchase of certified and information vital records (birth, death and marriage certificates)

– Issuing of marriage licenses

– Performing marriage ceremonies.

The Recorder-County Clerk is requesting members of the public to make appointments for the new services in order to ensure that knowledgeable staff members are available to assist with all services. Individuals may call the High Desert Recorder-Clerk’s office directly at (760) 995-8065 to make appointments and the main office toll free at (855) 732-2575 for additional information.

Dennis Draeger stated that it has been an extensive process to implement the information technology that allows these services to be offered in branch offices and he is pleased that this goal has been achieved.

He expressed thanks to the information technology and subject matter experts who worked hard to make these additional services possible.  Draeger said he hoped Recorder and County Clerk services would additionally be offered soon in other locations where Assessor’s branch offices are located, such as, Joshua Tree, Barstow, Big Bear and Twin Peaks.
