(Victor Valley)– Join Inland Empire United Way’s volunteer initiative, HandsOn Inland Empire and the hundreds of other volunteers in the community to celebrate the spirit of volunteerism. Inland Empire United Way will be celebrating National Volunteer Week on Saturday, October 25th by gathering hundreds of volunteers to give a school in Montclair a much needed makeover.
Volunteers are needed to help paint murals, clean, and engage in other fun projects that will positively change the school environment. Our goal is to provide the students at school with a colorful, vibrant campus that promotes more physical activity, inspires creativity and imaginations and encourages a sense of pride among students in their educational environment. Help transform the school grounds into a dynamic environment that is visually stimulating and that the teachers, parents, students, and the community can be proud of!
All volunteers must wear closed toed shoes and clothes that they are willing to get dirty. Volunteers will be provided with an event t-shirt at the registration table. All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and water will be provided to all volunteers throughout the event.
