(Hesperia) – The San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG) and its contractor will be closing lanes at night on Interstate 15 (I-15) on Tuesday, October 28, and Wednesday, October 29, to install sign structures for the under construction Ranchero Road Interchange.
The Tuesday night closure of the two outside lanes of northbound I-15 will begin at 9:00 pm and continue through 6:00 am the following morning. The Wednesday night closure of the two outside lanes of southbound I-15 will begin at 9:00 pm and continue until 6:00 am the next morning. No detours will be necessary as at least one lane will remain open at all times. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra time when traveling through the area. California Highway Patrol will be on hand to assist with conducting a safe operation for both the crew and motorists in the area.
Motorists traveling in the area should also be aware of ongoing freeway construction in the Cajon Pass, just south of the Ranchero Road Interchange Project. Details about the those two projects can be found at:
SANBAG thanks the motoring public for their patience during this construction effort.
