(Victor Valley)– Arrowhead Regional Medical Center will be hosting a Stroke Summit for health care professionals including physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, and all allied health care professionals.
As a Primary Stroke Center, ARMC serves as a resource for health care professionals in the region. The summit, “A Multifaceted Approach to Improving Patient Outcomes,” will feature experts who will present the latest guidelines for stroke diagnosis and treatment.
- Some of the topics to be covered in the summit include:
- Stroke core measures in the Emergency Room
- Tissue Plasminogen Activator (tPA)
- Neuro-Intervention: A Review and What is New
- New advancements in stroke care
The summit will be held from 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., on Friday, November 7, 2014. Registration begins promptly at 7 a.m. It will be held at the Oak Conference Room, Main Lobby, First Floor, Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, 400 N. Pepper Avenue in Colton.
