(Apple Valley)– Literacy programs, sheltering services, down payment assistance, road improvements and park facilities are just a few of the services the Town has funded in the past with federal grant funds.
Officials are seeking community input on how it should allocate Community Development Block Grants and other federal funds in 2015-2016. There are two ways to participate. The public can take an on-line survey that can be accessed on the Town’s website at www.AppleValley.org or share their views in person at a public hearing on November 18.
Residents and service providers are encouraged to participate. The hearing will be held as part of the Town Council meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers at 14955 Dale Evans Parkway in Apple Valley.
