(Victor Valley) – Caltrans, District 8 continues construction on the six mile, $232 million high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane project on SR-91 through downtown Riverside. There will be full freeway closures of SR-91 between Central Avenue and 14th Street. These closures are necessary to construct the Pachappa Railroad Bridge across the freeway.
The closures will take place as follows:
Westbound detour: Exit 14th Street and turn right, turn left onto Market Street, turn left onto Central Avenue.
Eastbound detour: Exit Central Ave. and turn left, turn right onto Magnolia, turn right onto 14th Street.
Expect delays and use alternate routes if available.
