(Apple Valley)– On January 6, 2015, Apple Valley Ranchos Water Company will commence a large scale water main replacement in the area of Mondamon, Symeron, Tacony and Tuscola Roads in the Town of Apple Valley. This area is west of Apple Valley Road and south of Highway 18.
“This project will replace 8,000 feet of old water main and will greatly improve system reliability”, said Tony Penna, general manager and vice president.
“This project along with several others planned for 2015 are part of our infrastructure investment commitment to preserve the integrity of the water system and reduce the potential of system failures.” The total investment by Ranchos Water in this project is $765,000.
Ranchos Water sent letters to all customers that live in the area, which will be affected by the upcoming construction project. Additionally, the construction schedule has been modified to minimize the disruption to traffic at Desert Knolls Elementary School and The Lewis Center for Educational Research.
Ranchos Water Company apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience while the work is underway.
