Since 2004, the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) Alumni Chapter at Cal State San Bernardino has been providing EOP students with book awards to assist them with textbook costs. Proceeds from the golf tournament will assist the chapter in continuing to provide book awards to current EOP and foster youth students.

The EOP Alumni Chapter was established to provide the opportunity for academic and lifelong success to historically low-income, educationally disadvantaged and/or first-generation college students who seek a future of educational prosperity.

The chapter works to provide support to the EOP student, both financially and academically, and serves as an advocate at the local and state level, showcasing the program’s success. It also works to enhance alumni membership and to inform the community at large about the EOP program, its goals and benefits.
