(Victor Valley)—Disney fans rejoice; get ready for non-stop fun with four of your favorite Disney stories when Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy – Presented by Stonyfield YoKids Organic Yogurt, comes to the Citizen’s Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA from April 23 – 26.  The magical ice spectacular showcases the characters you know and love from Disney•Pixar’s Cars and Toy Story 3 and Disney’s Tinker Bell and The Little Mermaid.

The all ages variety show features high-speed stunts as Lightning McQueen, Mater and the crew of Disney•Pixar’s Cars race across the ice.  Dive into The Little Mermaid’s enchanting undersea kingdom and enter the mystical world of Pixie Hollow with Tinker Bell and the Disney Fairies as they reveal the magic that lies within!  The toys are back in town with heroic action when Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie, and the Toy Story gang escape from the rambunctious tots of Sunnyside Daycare and race for home, in their most daring adventure ever!

Ensemble skater Jonna Malinowski spoke with High Desert Daily about what to expect from the Disney on Ice production. “Worlds of Fantasy opens up with Cars, which are actually life size cars that have animatronics that allows them to blink and talk, which is really cool,” said Malinowski. “The little boys love that part of the show. Then it’s Under the Sea with the Little Mermaid, so we will see Ariel, Sebastian and more. Then we fly to Pixie Hollow, which has Tinker Bell and all of her fairy friends. The second half of Worlds of Fantasy is Toy Story 3 with Woody, Jesse, Buzz, and all of the toys. Half of the show is Little Mermaid and Tinkerbelle, which is great for little girls, and then Cars and Toy Story 3 is great for the boys. I feel, with Toy Story 3, everyone loves it; boys and girls of every age.”

Malinowski knew one day she would be skating for Disney on Ice, at least that is what her mother tells her in a memory of the young skater at the tender age of four. “When I was about 4 years old, I went to my first Disney on Ice show with my mom, and I don’t remember this at all, but my mom says I looked up at her during the show and said, “mom, I want to do this when I grow up. At 18 years old, I auditioned for Disney on Ice in my hometown of Chicago and I joined about four months later. “

Traveling from city to city, performing to different crowds on a regular basis is something Malinowski loves the most. “In every city, its so different,” said Malinowski. “The audience vibe and everything is completely different. Everyone is so loud and supportive; it makes your adrenaline get so high. One of my favorite parts is seeing the kids’ reactions to everything we are doing, their faces just light up; it warms my heart.”
