(Victor Valley)– Beginning this month, a Southwest Gas contractor is scheduled to replace approximately 7.5 miles of gas pipeline in Victorville and Hesperia. The project will have two phases and is estimated to be completed in December 2015.
The replacement project will start just south of Turner Road in Victorville, head south along the Amargosa Road alignment to Dos Palmas/Yates, then easterly to Arrowhead Drive, where it will tie into existing pipeline. The second phase of pipeline installation will take place on 7th Avenue in Victorville, running from just south of Lindero to Sequoia in Hesperia, then head easterly on Sequoia to Bornite, where it will also tie into existing pipeline.

Traffic control will be in place near the construction activity to shift traffic away from the work zone; however, access to residences and businesses will be maintained.
