(Victor Valley)– San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors Vice Chairman Robert Lovingood has appointed Anita Tuckerman to the County Workforce Investment Board.
“Anita brings a wealth of knowledge, executive experience and community service to the board,” Lovingood said.
Tuckerman is Director of Asset Services for Stirling Development at Southern California Logistics Airport in Victorville.
She has served on the Victor Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors since 2011, as well as chairman of the board in 2013-14. She also serves on the High Desert Opportunity Conference Board, St Mary’s St. Joseph Health Care Foundation Committee Board and on the City of Victorville’s Redevelopment Oversight Committee. She is a licensed real estate agent and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from California State University, Fullerton.
“A diverse, well-educated and trained work force brings stability and growth opportunities to any Community,” Tuckerman said. “As a community, we need to work together to identify employee training needs, and ensure we are actively providing support to both employers and employees to offer timely, valuable solutions.”
