(Victorville)– This Saturday, June 6th, the City of Victorville and Victorville Disposal are sponsoring a Free Cleanup and Recycle Day event to make it easy for City residents to clean up their yards and neighborhoods. The event will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will take place at the corner of Hornet Street @ Mesa View in Victorville. To get to the event location, residents should take Mesa View Drive, then turn onto Caddie Street and follow signs to the event.
Items such as garden trimmings, broken fences, old furniture, appliances, computers, TVs, scrap metal, cardboard boxes, extra trash, and other debris can be disposed of, free of charge during the event. No tires, hazardous waste, compressed cylinders, or asbestos materials will be accepted at this event.
The Free Cleanup and Recycle Day is for City of Victorville residents only, and proof of current City of Victorville residency will be required (current water bill or other utility bill). No business waste materials will be accepted.
