(Apple Valley)– The flags in front of Town Hall were temporarily removed on Wednesday morning so work could be done on the cell towers contained within the flag poles.
CMC Communications, the company that operates the cell towers, informed the Town that the work was needed to survey and diagram towers in the area. To complete the task, crews removed the tops of the poles, including a 10-foot section of shroud that hides the antennas.
Delineators and caution tape were installed to control pedestrian and automobile traffic in the area between the library and town hall where the work was being conducted. Work is expected to be complete by Thursday afternoon.
