Neon Nation is Bringing the ‘80s to Apple Valley

By Staff Reports

(Apple Valley)– Big hair and leg warmers will be all the rage when Neon Nation takes the stage on Thursday, August 6 at the Heritage Victor Valley Medical Group Sunset Concert Series at Civic Center Park.

Sponsored by weekly band hosts DS Energy Solutions and Apex Bulk Commodities, this group will treat concert goers to a trip down memory lane as they perform the greatest hits of the 1980s. With both male and female lead vocalists, they are able to recreate all of the popular sounds.

While the music is playing, park visitors can choose from an array of food choices and a beer garden. The park has inclined lawn seating, so concert goers should bring blankets or portable chairs. No pets are allowed within the concert seating area and smoking is prohibited in any Town parks.

The final concert of the season will be August 13 with Four Shadows Fall (Positive Alternative).

Civic Center Park is adjacent to Apple Valley Town Hall and across from Super Target in the Apple Valley Commons shopping center. Parking and admission are free. Visit or call (760) 240-7000 x7071 for more information.
