(Victor Valley)– With the current drought, desert plants have become a hot topic. The Mojave Water Agency invites the community to take a tour of the MWA garden and see how you can incorporate these plants into your landscape. The tour will held on the grounds of the MWA headquarters office (13846 Conference Center Dr, Apple Valley) on September 22nd.
This session will include native plant identification, plant selection, and plant placement. Attendees will be able to see different options for ground covers, including rock and wood chip varieties. The session will be taught by a Certified Master Gardner. Don’t miss this session: the MWA has a lot of information to share.
This event is hosted by the Mojave Water Agency. Seating is limited, so RSVP today. Refreshments will be served. To register to attend, please contact Gloria Golike at (760) 946-7001, or email her at ggolike@mojavewater.org. The deadline to RSVP is September 21, 2015.
