Heritage Victor Valley Medical Group Brings The Entire High Desert Community Together in a Spirited Fitness Event

(Victorville) – The Think Pink 5K Obstacle Race and 2K recreational version will headline the 3rd annual Heritage Games at the High Desert Events Center located at the San Bernardino Fairgrounds October 24, 2015 from 7 am to 12 pm. The wildly popular obstacle course racing format will bring together special Olympic Athletes and fitness enthusiasts at all levels who will take to the field in a range of community races including “Battle of the Schools”, “The Mayors Cup” and the “Business to Business Challenge”.

The Heritage Games attracts participants from across many community areas such as school districts, businesses, municipalities and fitness enthusiasts from Pro Elite athletes to sportsmen class athletes. The Saturday morning format beginning at 7:30 am with the “In It To Thin It” race has a full card of events going on to include the Business 2 Business Challenge, Battle of the Schools, Special Olympics, RetrOlympics, Mayors Cup, Think Pink Open Division, Think Pink Race for Breast Cancer, HIT Fit Challenge and completing the day with the Cal Games hosting police and firemen who will deliver ultra-fit first responders to inspire you with their fitness. The highly charged day on the green will also entertain spectators with community fitness demonstrations.


Darrell Courtney of High Desert Events stated “I enjoy seeing people coming together achieving self-goals. The Heritage Games is set for all different levels of athletes whether you are out there for pleasure or competition, and the games have grown into a “beast of an event!”

Everyone who participates in the Heritage Games will be eligible to win an I Pad Gold. Free fitness assessments will be available along with prizes and giveaways. This burst of community people power will be at 7 a.m. including the opportunity to meet a “Fit-Sician” and learn all about Prescriptive Fitness.
