(Victor Valley)—As the Anaheim Ducks headed back to Southern California after a four game road trip, they would play two home games and one away game in Arizona during the Thanksgiving week.

November 24th- Versus Calgary Flames

For the first home game, the Ducks came back to win as they faced the heat from Calgary.  It would be the Flames who struck first, with Michael Frolik knocking in the game’s first goal in the first period, with assists Russell and Ferland at 5:40, and then again in the first at 10:39 with Sam Bennett scoring, Backlund and Russell on assists. The first period ended with the game all tied up, as the Ducks would answer both scored goals: first at 12:07, Corey Perry scored on a Power Play, with assists by Getzlaf and Fowler, and then at 16:31, as Rickard Rakell tied up the game with assists by Vatanen and Getzlaf. The 2nd period would belong to Calgary, as Michael Frolik scored the periods lone goal at 15:46 with assists by Bennett and Wideman, once again taking the lead 3-2. Anaheim would own the 3rd, as the Ducks scored three unanswered goals, at 1:52 by Rickard Rakell with assists by Perry and Getzlaf, at 4:00 with a Power Play by Corey Perry with assists by Getzlaf and Fowler, and the final goal coming at 19:59 by Ryan Kesler, with Getzlaf and Vatanen on the assists. This marked the 21st win that the Ducks have had over Calgary when playing at home.

November 25th- Versus Arizona Coyotes

In the lone away game for the week, Anaheim traveled to Arizona to take on the Coyotes. The 1st and 2nd periods would belong to Arizona, as Michael Stone scored at 3:14 in the first, with the assist by Chipchura, and then at 5:25 in the 2nd, as Antoine Vermette would score on a Power Play with assists from Boedker and Domi. The 3rd would start off better for Anaheim as they would score first on a Power Play by Ryan Kesler with assists by Vatanen and Perry at 00:38. Arizona would answer back at 1:57, with Anthony Duclair scoring on an assist by Domi. Anaheim would shoot it out with Arizona as the Ducks scored once more with another Power Play at 7:47  from Sami Vatanen with assists from Fowler and Getzlaf. It would be Arizona that scored last, as Antoine Vermette scored at 18:54 with an assist by Richards for the last score of the game. Arizona

November 27th- Versus Chicago Blackhawks

As the Ducks returned home, they faced the Chicago Blackhawks in the two teams first meeting of the year. Anaheim would set the pace as they scored first at 1:02, as Andrew Cogliano scored with the assist from Hagelin and Fowler. Anaheim would have the only goals in the first two periods, as Chris Stewart scored at 7:34 with the assists from Lindholm and Kesler. The Ducks went into the 3rd 2-0, but Chicago would rally back, as Marian Hossa would score at 18:19 with assists from Keith and Seabrook. They would tie the game up at 19:33 as Duncan Keith saved the game with Seabrook and Kane on assists. It would go into overtime as the Ducks struggled once again in OT, and at 1:53, Chicago’s Artem Anisimov would score the game winning goal with an assist by Seabrook at 1:53, pushing Chicago to take the game at 3-2.

The Ducks look to bounce back as they play next in Anaheim, they take on the Vancouver Canucks on Monday night.
