(Victor Valley)– The Mojave Water Agency is seeking a student with a vision to be featured as a speaker at the High Desert Water Summit on April 13 at Barstow Community College. Students must write an essay that answers the question, “What Does the High Desert’s Water Future Look Like in 2036?”
The contest is open to students in grades 9-12, as well as students enrolled in their first or second year of college. Public, private, or home school students can enter. All entrants must live in the MWA boundaries.
The first place winner will receive $5,000 and the four runner-ups will each receive $1,000. For contest details, visit the MWA website here.
