(Victorville)– The City of Victorville Community Services Department, along with the Youth Advisory Committee and BEARS non-profit group, will host the Annual Spring Festival and Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hook Park, 14973 Joshua St. in Victorville. The festival will feature egg hunts, a vendor’s fair, free carnival and picnic games, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, and a train ride.
Egg Hunts for 3- and 4-year-olds will be held at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Egg Hunts for 5- and 6-year-olds will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.; and an Egg Hunt will be held at 11 a.m. for 7-, 8- and 9-year-olds.
Tickets are $5, and are available now at Hook Community Center. All participants must present a colored-ticket for entrance to the appropriate Egg Hunt and are asked to bring their own basket or bag for collecting eggs.
The Vendor’s Fair will offer food, craft, and display booths; and, families will have an opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny and several spring cut-outs using their own cameras.
Free carnival and picnic games will be presented by the City of Victorville Youth Advisory Committee. There will also be inflatables and a train ride for kids. A wristband for unlimited use of the inflatables and rides from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. may be purchased for a small fee on the day of the event. The Spring Festival and Easter Egg Hunt has become a community favorite, with approximately 3,000 visitors in attendance annually.
