(Victor Valley)– Stirling Development today announced the hire of Jason M. Huber as Project Manager. In his new role, Huber will oversee and lead project development at the firm’s major master plan development projects including Southern California Logistics Centre (SCLC), the 2,500-acre commercial and industrial complex entitled for 60 million square feet of development in Victorville, as well as Ocean Ranch, the 450-acre commercial, industrial and residential master plan in Oceanside.

As Project Manager Jason Huber is responsible for the oversight of a broad range of Stirling Development project functions including complex engineering work, construction management and entitlement processes and completions. Huber will oversee project development for current and future projects at Southern California Logistics Centre (SCLC), which is part of the 8,500-acre Global Access Victorville, the redevelopment of the former George Air Force Base. The development is home to major employers including Boeing, Dr Pepper Snapple, FedEx, Newell Rubbermaid, Red Bull Distribution, Mars Chocolate, Pratt & Whitney, General Electric, United Furniture Industries, Plastipak Packaging, Sparkletts Water, Fastenal and many additional national name brand companies capitalizing on the strategic location, quality regional workforce and superior real estate solutions provided onsite. When fully complete, Global Access Victorville is anticipated to deliver in excess of 24,000 jobs to the High Desert region of the Inland Empire.
Additionally, Jason Huber’s technical expertise will be utilized for future development at Stirling’s major commercial, industrial and residential Ocean Ranch master plan in San Diego County. The site’s commercial and industrial complex is home to major employers including Genentech, Coca-Cola, Magnaflow and AmerillumBrands.
Prior to joining Stirling Development, Jason Huber served as Project Manager for David Evans and Associates, the full-service architectural and engineering firm. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona and also attended the Don Bosco Technical Institute.
