Car Show Benefits VVHS Students

(Victorville)– Victor Valley High School’s annual Gas on the Grass custom car show will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, April 23 at the Victor Valley Union High School District offices, located at 16350 Mojave Drive in Victorville.

All of the car show proceeds benefit VVHS Auto Shop Club students who are competing in the SkillsUSA competition. Admission is free to the public. Vehicle registration is $20 per entry, and all donations are tax deductible. The event features raffles, food, vendors, awards and prizes. Entrants can register on the day of the show or pick up a pre-registration form from Salina Gregg at the Regional Occupational Program, located in Building 7 at the district office, 16350 Mojave Drive in Victorville, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed for lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.). Vendor registration forms are also still available.
