(Apple Valley)– Don’t be left “Crying” when tickets sell out to the “Revisiting the Orbison Years” tribute show by world-renowned Roy Orbison tribute artist Mark Barnett! Barnett has the look, sound and persona of the legendary entertainer down to a T, according to fans and critics across the nation. Audience members will be transported back to yesteryear as he sings those haunting songs with spot-on accuracy.
Barnett and his Black and White Knights band will take the stage at the next “Evenings on the Town” concert on two nights, May 5 and 6. Doors open at 6:15 and the show starts at 7 p.m. This popular new event series has sold out every time, so patrons are advised to book seats early.
Barnett’s concert promises to be a memorable entertainment experience filled with Orbison’s classics, such as “Pretty Woman,” “Only the Lonely,” “Crying,” “You Got It” and many other favorites.
“Few can even come close to Mark Barnett when it comes to singing like Roy Orbison,” said Brian Beirne, legendary DJ at K-Earth 101 FM. “He truly nails it and delivers an absolutely stunning show not to be missed.”
He started out on his musical journey at the age of 13 singing in his father’s band, The Johnny Barnett Show. In 1991, he struck out on his own with his Roy Orbison tribute show.
Over the years, Barnett and his group have performed at venues such as the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano and the Elks Opera House in Prescott Arizona, to name a few.
