(Victor Valley)– “Predicting Our Future by Our Own Design,” is the theme for the 2016 High Desert Water Summit set for April 13 in the performing arts center at Barstow Community College. The event will run from 7:15 to 11:30 a.m. The campus is located at 2700 Barstow Road.
Among the speakers include Dr. Christopher Thornberg, founding partner of Beacon Economics based in Los Angeles, and Ellen Hanak, Senior Fellow and Director of the Public Policy Institute Water Policy Center in San Francisco. Other speakers include Lance Eckhart, Director of Basin Management and Resource Planning with the Mojave Water Agency. The program also will include a presentation by a student.
