(Apple Valley)—When it comes to the subject of water in California, the messages are confusing. One minute we’re asked to continue to conserve water and the next we’re told to prepare for a strong El Nino coming our way. Does anyone have a handle on our water issues? Is there enough water in the High Desert to survive and grow? If you’ve asked these questions, then this session is for you.
The 4-1-1 on Water and Growth session will take place on Tuesday, May 24th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will take place at the Mojave Water Agency, 13846 Conference Center Drive in Apple Valley.
Lance Eckhart, Director of Basin Management and Resource Planning at Mojave Water Agency will explain the importance of an Urban Water Management Plan, how the document provides key data on the region’s water supply, and what that means for future growth.
Refreshments will be served and seating is limited, so register now to attend. Please email Gloria Golike at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact her at (760) 946-7001. The deadline to register is May 23, 2016.
