(Victorville)—Governor Jerry Brown has announced the appointment of Victorville resident Michael Stevens to the 28th District Agricultural Association, otherwise known as the San Bernardino County Fair Board of Directors. His term expires in 2019.
“I’m delighted that the Governor chose me to use my time and talents to help guide the activities of the 28th District Agricultural Association,” said Michael Stevens, owner/operator of Stevens Consulting Services.
Stevens, whose appointment came just days before the May 21st start of the of 69th County Fair, joins eight other County residents to plan the Fair, the High Desert Home Show, The Victorville Gun Show, concerts, community meetings, celebrations, and public and private events of all types for the Fairgrounds and High Desert Event Center.
Stevens owns and operates Stevens Consulting Services, a communications and training firm. In addition to volunteering to serve on the Fair Board, he also serves on Inland Empire United Way’s Advisory Council for the Desert Communities Region, as well as the city of Victorville’s Legislative Review Committee.
