Stay Cool at the Pool Memorial Day Weekend

(Victorville)– Grab your swimsuits and sunscreen and head to the pool! The pool at Doris Davies Park officially opened May 28.  Recreational Swim will be available from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday through Monday this Memorial Day Weekend.

Regular summer hours begin June 4 when the pool will be open weekends and holidays from 11:45 a.m.to- 1:45 p.m. and 2 p.m.to- 4 p.m., and Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

There is a fee of $2 per person for anyone entering the pool area, including those individuals not planning to swim.

All adults and parents of minors entering the pool area must sign an agreement and release of liability upon entrance.  The release of liability will then be on file for the rest of the summer.

Community Services is currently taking registration at Hook Community Center for swim lessons or online at www.victorvillerec.com.

For those individuals wishing to become future lifeguards, there are training programs to sign up for as well.

Doris Davies Park Pool also offers swimming lessons, family recreation swim sessions, and pool rentals for birthdays and team parties.
