Live Music Series Returns to Historic Time Capsule Building and Living Museum

(Apple Valley) – The vision of musical artists who teamed-up and opened the doors to a unique all-in-one event they call “The Inn Room” has stirred the curiosity of the public and music lovers everywhere will return to The Historic Apple Valley Inn on Saturday, June, 25.

The Historic Apple Valley Inn can be described as a vault of Apple Valley history, once you enter you’ll be walking back in time as the interior has been well preserved and still retains its rustic glamour of yesteryear and you can experience what was once Golden Hollywood’s hideaway..

Locals who travel down Highway 18 in Apple Valley past Town Center and the unusual collection buildings at Bass Hill know the place, but may not know that The Inn opened on Thanksgiving Day in 1948 and was a popular vacation destination for Hollywood celebrities, frequent visitors included notable icons: Bob Hope, Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, Richard Nixon and investors Roy Rogers and Dale Evans in its heyday. Today it serves as a business and events center and is being utilized for this live music concert series.

Once inside The Inn Room event you can meet with historians from the Apple Valley Legacy Museum and for the June live-music offering get ready to dance and jump to Chicago Style Blues with The Blue Henrys.

The Blue Henrys put their own twist on Chicago Blues well-known’s such as Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Willie Dixon, Freddie King, Little Walter and Junior Wells just to name a few. But their unique spin on these and other great rock & roll artists is what keeps fans coming back. Not only do they entertain with great arrangements of blues and rock legends, their own songwriting and arranging hits the mark of original in a big way with “She’s Still Lovin’ Me”, “Change His Mind,” “She’s Gone,” “Always In My Heart” & “Matter of Opinion,” being among crowd favorites wherever they play.

This unique event features vendors, food, dancing, amusements and top-notch entertainment where one ticket gets it all.

Doors open at 6pm. Ticket price is $20 and includes: Event entry, snacks, live music and the historic bar will be open for drink and food purchases and specials. Group VIP Packages are sold out for this show.
