(Victorville)– On August 2, 2016, from 5:00-8:00 p.m., the Victorville Police Department will be hosting National Night Out. The event will take place in front of Victorville City Hall on Civic Drive.

Please bring the whole family and join us for a night out, where you and your neighbors can learn about community safety and building strong, cohesive neighborhoods together. There will be plenty of fun, food, and games.

The 33rd Annual National Night Out is a program sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and co-sponsored by the Victorville Police Department, City of Victorville, and Target stores. This event will focus on strengthening our city, one neighborhood at a time.

The following will be available at the event:

  • How to start a Neighborhood Watch
  • How to apply to be part of the Citizen’s On Patrol Unit
  • Check out San Bernardino County Sheriff, Fire & City vehicles
  • Fingerprinting for the kids
  • Games for the kids
  • Meet McGruff the Crime Dog
  • And much, much more
