(Victor Valley)– In honor of the first ever Team Honda National Week of Service, Valley Hi Honda sponsored 75 free rabies vaccines during a June vaccination clinic at VVAPL Humane Society. The Helpful Valley Hi Honda People lent a hand during the event and passed out treats to pets and pet owners. In addition, Valley Hi Honda donated money to purchase cat trees for VVAPL’s cattery. The donation from Valley Hi Honda totaled $1,000.
Team Honda National Week of Service, from June 10 to June 19, was a coordinated week of volunteer projects in the U.S., Canada and Mexico to reinforce the Team Honda spirit of working together to make a difference in the communities in which they live and work. “Helping pet owners with necessary vaccines and homeless cats with the comforts of home was absolutely a heartfelt project from the many animal loving Honda associates,” said Valley Hi Honda General Manager Chris Justice.
VVAPL Humane Society is extremely grateful for the generous donation from Valley Hi Honda. “Businesses working to improve the lives of animals is a wonderful message we hope continues to grow in the Victor Valley,” said VVAPL Humane Society Executive Director Kathy Williamson.
