(Adelanto)—A traffic collision before noon today at the Charter Communications facility in Hesperia has caused an interruption of all incoming and outgoing calls at the City of Adelanto, as well email service. “We’ve essentially lost all electronic communications capability,” said City Manager Cindy Herrera.
The city’s Information Services staff has been in communications with Charter Communications, but an estimate for when service might resume has not been given. “As of now, we’re expecting to resume city operations at the normal time of 7:00 a.m. on Thursday August 18 unless we receive indications from Charter that service will not be restored in time,” said Herrera.
Another Media Advisory will be sent as soon as information is available as to the status of communications services to the city.
On another note, Herrera indicated that at this time there is no threat of the Blue Cut fire impacting property in Adelanto.
