Invitation-only “Made in the High Desert” Job Fair to Connect Job Seekers with High-Quality Manufacturing Jobs

(Victor Valley)– Manufacturers from the High Desert will be looking for high-quality employees at the “Made in the High Desert” Job Fair Oct. 28 at the San Bernardino County Fair Grounds.

The invitation-only Job Fair is being hosted by San Bernardino County First District Supervisor Robert Lovingood and the San Bernardino County Workforce Development Board (WDB). Job-seekers will need to pre-qualify by going online at, job order 30393-30398. Those who make the cut will receive an invitation for entry.

“Manufacturing jobs are the lifeblood of our economy, and we’re seeing a tremendous interest from companies looking to expand in the High Desert region,” Lovingood said. “The ‘Made in the High Desert’ Job Fair is an excellent opportunity to connect manufacturers with the employees they need and want to grow their businesses.”

According to research conducted for the Workforce Development Board by Chmura Economics & Analytics, San Bernardino County has added 5,447 manufacturing jobs during the past three years, raising the total to 90,727.

“Helping manufacturers succeed is a major priority for our Board,” said Tony Myrell, WDB Chairman. “We provide a multitude of business solutions and are an invaluable resource for finding well-trained, high-quality employees.”

The “Made in the High Desert” Job Fair will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at the High Desert Event Center within the Fair Grounds, 14800 Seventh St. in Victorville. Job-seekers interested in pre-qualifying must visit, job order 30393-30398.
