(Apple Valley)– Imagine having thousands of unique, handcrafted gifts, that appeal to all ages: jewelry, statues, boxes, baskets, clothing & more, all made by third world artisans and farmers who were paid a fair wage for their work – all together in one place, in the High Desert.
Well, don’t imagine it, come and experience it this Saturday and Sunday, November 12 & 13 at Our Lady of the Desert Church (hall), 18386 Corwin Rd in Apple Valley for the 13th International Fair Trade Market & International Dinners.
How about enjoying a full dinner made up of samples of Thai, Mexican, Ethiopian, Filipino, grilled Asian, and southern cuisines?
Enjoy our International Dinners – 5pm Saturday and 6pm Sunday!
For only $5 a plate you get to travel the world – in food!
All donated by local restaurants and members of our Filipino community, and all proceeds go to the Lord’s Table in Victorville so that others might enjoy a meal.
Still more, Tonyan Coffee will be serving their Fair Trade, freshly-roasted, organic coffees – For Free! – while you shop.
