(Victor Valley) – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), in partnership with the City of Fontana, will install one box culvert under Interstate 15 (I-15) as part of the Duncan Canyon Road Interchange Project. The master planned storm drain facility was combined with the Duncan Canyon Road Interchange Project to minimize overall impacts to motorists on I-15.
The project is necessary to complete the local drainage facility, which will allow water to effectively flow from the east side of I-15 to the west side.
The $3 million project was awarded to SEMA Construction, Inc. in late September 2016. Construction work began in early January.
