(Apple Valley)– Literacy programs, sheltering services, down payment assistance, road improvements and park facilities are just a few of the services the Town has funded in the past with federal grant money.
Officials are seeking community input to allocate Community Development Block Grants and other federal funds in 2017-2018. Residents and service providers are encouraged to participate in a public hearing that will be held as part of the April 25 Town Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers at 14955 Dale Evans Parkway in Apple Valley. Comments may also be submitted in writing to the Town Clerk’s office.
A draft of the 2017-18 action plan that explains the grant funding procedures is available for review in the Town Clerk’s office, Development Services Building, Apple Valley Library, Victor Valley Museum and on the Town Website at www.AppleValley.org
