Dr. Sean Flynn to Keynote the 2017 High Desert Economic Summit

(Victorville) – On Monday, the High Desert Economic Summit announced Dr. Sean Flynn will join Dr. Chris Thornberg at the Hilton Garden Inn for the April 27th summit. This regional economic conference is presented by Desert Valley Hospital and Desert Valley Medical Group.

Dr. Flynn is an associate professor of economics at Scripps College in Claremont and is the author of the international best-seller Economics for Dummies as well as the coauthor of the world’s best-selling college economics textbook, Economics: Principles, Problems and Policies. An occasional commentator on FOX Business, ABC News, and NPR, Sean holds a Ph.D. in Economics from UC Berkeley.

His presentation on April 27th will focus on the economic impacts of our current political and regulatory climate. Federal policies continue to change, which can create a certain degree of uncertainty in the economy. Dr. Flynn’s knowledge of economic systems and today’s current events will allow for a dynamic presentation from one of the nation’s leading economists that will offer insight to businesses, government agencies, and investors.
