(Victorville) – The Victorville City Library is pleased to announce that it now accepts passport applications on behalf of the United States Department of State.
United States citizens planning international travel may now apply for their passports by appointment at the Victorville City Library. Appointments are available Monday through Saturday, but must be scheduled in advance by calling the Library at Victorville City Library at (760) 245-4222, ext 3.
There is a $10 fee for passport photos, and other fees apply for processing documents. These fees are payable by check or money order. Residents should visit the U.S. Department of State official website at www.travel.state.gov for passport information, application forms, documentation requirements, fees, and other useful passport and international travel information. Forms are also available at the Library.
“In addition to giving our community access to great books and excellent programs, the Victorville City Library will now have the ability to accept passport applications as well as take passport photos. We are very excited to be able to offer another great service to the Victor Valley,” stated Karen Everrett, Victorville City Librarian.
Any resident of the area who is a United States citizen may use the passport services at the Victorville City Library. The service is not limited to just Victorville residents.
The Victorville City Library is located at 15011 Circle Dr., Victorville, CA 92395. The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information on all services offered by the Victorville City Library, call (760) 245-4222.
